Install a layer of artificial rock on a brick, concrete cement block, dry wall or plaster wall to include an impression of the outdoors. Wipe the back of every rock to eliminate particles.

Mix a batch of mortar that is wealthy. Pour 2 parts sand to 1 part portland cement in a mixing container. Add water and stir before the mortar that is wealthy is the consistency of whipped potatoes. The quantity of water added will depend on the quantity of dry components.

Spread a 1/2 inch layer of mortar that is wealthy on the area that is prepared. Start in function and the bottom.

Remove the extra mortar together with the edge of an instrument that is joint or the trowel.

Apply a 1/4 inch layer of mortar that is wealthy to the rock that is next. Position, location, twist and press the rock set up. Remove excess mortar. Repeat the procedure before the whole region is rocked. Apply mortar to the wall area as required. Allow the mortar to dry 24 hours.

Mix a bathtub of grout in line with the instructions on the package. Manufacturer’s vary on the grout combine that is dry -to-water ratio.

Use the grout between each stone using a tool that is joint. Wipe excess grout off in the rock surface using a moist fabric. Allow the grout to dry 2-4 hrs.
